旅程： 2019. 08. 11 ～ 08. 15
Sri Lanka Jasmine Toursさんは旅行プランの提案や各種手配をするだけでなく、心から私たちを喜ばせようと常に気を配ってくださいました。担当ドライバーはタリンダさんでした。彼は本当に素晴らしい旅を私たちにプレゼントしてくれました。ありがとう。
この旅のルートと目的
私たちはスリランカに5日間滞在し、ルートとして
空港(CMB)→ヌワラエリヤ→キャンディ→ダンブッラ→シーギリヤ→空港(CMB) の順で巡りました。
今回の私たちの旅行は、色々な観光地を回るというよりはゆったりと時間を過ごすことが目的だったので、少なめに、国立公園とシーギリヤロックとアーユルヴェーダは行きたいとタリンダさんに伝えました。他はノープランでしたが、彼がルートの途中途中でおすすめスポットに連れて行ってくれたので良い意味で退屈できませんでした。
たとえば、国立公園へは予定していた2日間とも天気が悪くて行くことができなかったものの、その代わりに紅茶工場や、現地の商店街などに連れて行ってくれました。時にはそうやって立ち寄った先で
「俺のトゥクトゥク運転してみる？」
「やってみたい！…って難しすぎるわ！おっちゃんすげーな！＾○＾」
といった楽しい会話もありました。
タリンダのサービスと安心感
私たちが買い物や食事に行くときは、彼は必ず、そして私たち二人の時間を邪魔しないようにそっとついてきてくれました。(もちろんスリランカ人のセンスで一緒に私たちの服を選んでくれたりもしました。)
What’sAppやLINEで連絡すると、いつも間髪入れずに「ホテルのロビーにいるよ！」って返事が！何かあったらすぐ対応できるように待機してくれていたみたいです。外国旅行ってちょっと不安になることもあるけれど、そうやって現地人の彼が近くにいてくれると思うとすごく安心できました。
彼は強運も持っています！ヌワラエリヤからキャンディへの移動中は霧が立ち込めてずっと一面真っ白だったのが、彼が私たちを絶景ポイントに連れて行ってくれたその5分間だけ霧が晴れたりとか(Fig.1)。そこは涙が出るほどの絶景でした！彼の強運はまさにミラクルです！
サプライズのサポートまで！？
そして私が最もうれしかったのは、彼が全力で私のプロポーズをサポートしてくれたことです(Fig.2)。
彼は私がリングを買うのを彼女に気づかれないように振る舞ってくれたり、景色がロマンチックになるタイミングでプロポーズできるようにスケジュールをアドバイスしてくれたりしました。
「一人になりにくいよね。近くにスリランカで採れる宝石の博物館があるから、彼女に説明員をつけて君だけの時間を作るよ。その間にリングを選べる？」みたいな。
彼が現地を知り尽くしていて、また私たちの「キャラ」をわかってくれていたからこそできた機転の利かせ方だと思います。
そして、サプライズは成功！！彼はまるで自分のことのように一緒に喜んでくれました！
全体的に、私たちは心からゆったりと、でも充実した時間を過ごすことができました。とても語りつくせないほどにすばらしい旅でした。たぶん近いうちにまた行きます＾＾）。

Travel period : From 11 Aug to 15 Aug, 2019.
The Sri Lanka Jasmine Tours not only did revising travel plans and making various arrangements, but also always cared to please us. The driver in charge was Tharinda. I have never been so happyier until me meet. He is a really nice person.
Route and purpose of our trip
Our purpose of this trip was to spend a relaxing time rather than going around many sightseeing spots. So I’d like to introduce what kind of time we were able to spend.
We stayed in Sri Lanka for 5 days and the route was;
airport (CMB) → Nuwara Eliya → Kandy → Dambulla → Sigiriya → Airport (CMB).
At first, I told him we wanted to go to Sigiriya Rock, National Park and Ayurveda. Other than that, we were taken to his recommended spot on the way of the route. Unfortunately, the weather of the national park was bad for two days we planned, but instead he took us to a tea factory, and to a local shopping street and so on. He suggests us a lot of alternative plans so we couldn’t be bored.
Where we stopped by, there was also fun talks with the local people. such as “Do you want to try drive my tuk-tuk?”, “How? … It’s too difficult for me!!(LOL”
Service and security of Tharinda
Whenever we went shopping or eating, he always followed us gently so as not to disturb our private time. On the other hand, he sometimes chose clothes for us together with the Sri Lankan sense. Also, whenever we contacted him via What’sApp or LINE, we got a reply soon “I’m in the hotel lobby!” It seems that he was waiting to be able to respond immediately if something happened. Traveling abroad is a bit uneasy, but we were very relieved to think that the gentle local man always supported us.
He also has good luck! During the move from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy, the view was all white by fog, we get clear view for only 5 minutes when he took us to the scenic point (Fig.1). There was a superb view! His luck is exactly Miracle! !
Even support for surprises!
And what I was most happy to meet him, that is he supported my marriage proposal to my girl friend with his best (Fig.2).
He behaved so that she didn’t realize I was going to buy a ring, and advised me a schedule so I could make a proposal when the scenery was romantic. For example, “Sri Lanka produces gems. I’ll arrange a staff for her at the gem museum. You’ll get few minutes, so buy a ring in the meantime! OK?” I think he could advice me because he knew well about the local area, and knew “our character.”
The surprise became a great success! ! He was also pleased it!
Overall, we could be really relaxed, and we had a great time. It was a wonderful trip than we expected! We’ll come again!
